1912 - 1926

1921 Norimitsu Tachibana founds Tachibana Shokai as a private business, wholesaling electric products and providing electric installation services.
1925 A sales agent contract with Mitsubishi Corporation is concluded.

1926 - 1989

1947 The contract with Mitsubishi Corporation is terminated and a sales agent contract with Mitsubishi Electric Corporation is concluded.
1948 Tachibana Shokai Ltd. is established.
1957 The Tokyo Office (now under the name East Japan Branch Office) is established.
1961 The Sakai Office (now under the name South Osaka Office) is established.
The head office is relocated to Nishi Ward of Osaka.
The Nagoya Office (now under the name Middle Japan Branch Office) is established.
1962 The contract with Mitsubishi Electric Corporation is revised to the status of an agency agreement.
1963 The Kobe Office is established.
1966 The Machida Office (now under the name Kanagawa Office) is established.
1974 The Company obtains a license as a general constructor, authorized by the Ministry of Construction.
1981 The Hokuriku Office is established.
1982 The Singapore Office is established.
1985 The Osaka Software Center is established.
1986 The Company issues an IPO as a listed company in the New 2nd Section of the Osaka Securities Exchange Market.
1988 The Hong Kong Office is established.

1989 - 2019

1990 The Company is upgraded to the 2nd Section of the Osaka Securities Exchange Market.
1994 The company relocates to a newly built head office.
1997 Tachibana Sales Taiwan Co., Ltd. is established.
2001 June: ISO14001 is acquired.
Sept.: The Company is rebranded as Tachibana Eletech Co., Ltd.
2002 Tachibana Sales Shanghai Ltd. is established.
2004 March 4, 2004
The Company is listed in the 2nd Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
2005 March 1, 2005
The Company is listed in the 1st Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange and in the 1st Section of the Osaka Securities Exchange.
2006 The Company acquires information security management system ISMS certification.
November 2, 2006: The Company invests in Daidensha Co., Ltd.
2007 Tachibana Sales Korea Ltd. is established.
Tachibana Sales Bangkok Co., Ltd. is established.
Tachibana Overseas Holdings is established as a regional head-office.
2008 March 2008
A new building is built to house the South Osaka Office and the employee training center (Rishikan and Ningendojo).
2010 The Company acquires Daidensha Co., Ltd. as a wholly owned subsidiary.
The Beijing Office and the Shenzhen Office are established.
2011 The Wuhan Office is established.
The Company celebrates the 90th anniversary of its founding.
2012 Tachibana Overseas Holdings Ltd. is established.
The Dalian Office is established.
The Company invests in Takagi Co., Ltd., and Tachibana Device Component Co., Ltd. is established.
2013 The Malaysia Office is established.
2014 Tachibana Sales Indonesia is established.
The Qingdao Office is established.
The Tokyo Office (now under the name East Japan Branch Office) is moved to a company-owned building.
The Company acquires Takagi Co., Ltd. as a consolidated subsidiary.
2015 The Company starts the medium to long term management plan “C.C.J2200.”
2019 The Company acquires Takagi Co., Ltd. as a wholly owned subsidiary.

2019 - Present

2020 Tachibana Sales Malaysia Sdn. Bhd is established.
The Company acquires Tachibana Electronic Solutions Co., Ltd. as a wholly owned subsidiary.
2021 The company celebrates the 100th anniversary of its founding.
2022 The Nagoya Office (now under the name Middle Japan Branch Office) is moved.
